Editors Ephemeral Dublin Appearance

October 21, 2018 by Kenn
Editors hit Dublin last Tuesday night, 16th October, on the back of their 6th album, “Violence”, to a full house at Vicar Street Dublin.
Infused with textured guitar riffs, melodic synths and anthemic choruses, Editors’ new album is a paradox. While lyrically, “Violence” paints a brutal world, one of corruption, pain and grief, musically, the band has entered the pop sphere more than ever.

The Salty Dog at Electric Picnic

August 16, 2018 by Kenn
“The turn-of-the-century harbour that provides a bosom to the gloriously decadent Salty Dog once again comes to life”

May 14, 2018 by Kenn
In an age of instant gratification, digitization and high expectation, Vinyl Dublin was a welcome retreat. A much needed moment to catch your breath, reflect and take stock on perhaps not just the music industry but indeed our own relationship with music.

The festival will be on from the 6th-8th of October spread over a number of Venues around Dublin City Centre. HWCH is now in it’s 14th year and has added a new aspect to the showcase this year – 25 selected companies will get a chance to pitch their ideas to VCs and investors over the weekend and will also be given access to mentoring, panels and tip sessions the same way bands have had with HWCH since its first year in 2003. There’s also an open call for new ideas and startups who want to pitch to Irish startup supports.

For music fans the August bank holiday weekend was like the mecca of music. The choice was abundant from Indiependence to Beatyard pumping out the sounds.
